Annoying older wannabe fake badasses

[Disclaimer: I guess I should say, no offence to any genuine "ole badasses", just the fakers]

I have seen this phenomenon in men of almost all backgrounds. Have you ever observed some of these aging wannabe badasses? Most were creampuffs when they were young, but they attain a crappy attitude in their older years, and morph into a different facade. They perm their receding hairlines into something of a grey mop; their eye glasses either make their eyes appear large or small and beady (same affect); they suddenly don a new precious little well-groomed mustache; they pout their mouth in such a way as to look more fearsome; they tend to either be either overweight swaggering types, or also slightly-build men who walk around with their bad attitudes in a sort of march-like walk; they often possess either a horse or high-nervous tone of voice; and they always treat younger guys very rudely. Usually, they are not even in any authoritarian position, but are just angry because of whatever excuse they have; and for every waking hour of the day too. Don't be afraid to call their bluff.

thats just what this is ,a"rant".who are the wannabe badasses that you are talking about?are they some older guys that just wont give you the time of day?well that dont make them a wannabe.and you know what ,call their bluff and odds are you will get hurt.men reach an age that they are not about to take crap off some young punk.

One does not secure age without a keen sense of survival. My grizzled look has been paid for in blood, sweat and tears. Broken noses, knife scars and healed bullet wounds do not make me "a tough ass wannabe". I just demanded to be ALIVE. I apologize to no ute who was carrin' green in his/hers diapers when I was earning with some top notch hustlers back in the 60s and 70s. Who's the tough guy today? Fitty sent"? "Will Smiff"? "Bouncey"? I lived when Moe Dalitz, Shondor Birns, Don "Kid" King, Sonny Coleman, Ali Khan and more than I care to type took neighborhoods as feifdoms and fought hard to keep them and the Peace. "O"-"L"-"D" does not spell stupid. Au contraire, ma frere. It means that I stioll possess reproductive ability and the ability to take care of another son and mistress. As for fighting, avoid it. Seek Peace. Read the tenets of Wing Chun and you may add happiness to your remaining time here. Otherwise, please take the advice of the previous poster. May Peace be with you always.

I hadn't checked this post, so I immediately considered if maybe I had gone too far.... but after re-reading it, not really. Some people are just mad because they have to work, or mad because they don't make enough money. These aren't hustlers.

Sure, from a Corporation stand point, employees are getting angry. Corporations are laying off workers and setting "unrealistic" goals that has to be done with 50% less of their employee staff. Salaried employees are working later. Most Corporations are on the same bandwagon and doing the same thing. Besides, I don't see the economy getting better. We're being taxed to death. Government is stepping in and growing and our rights are being "stripped" away besides the fact that a Mosque may be built on ground zero. People are losing their their shirts and losing their homes. How much more can we take before we say "that's enough"? I don't want to get deep into politics but, I don't quite care for who's in the Whitehouse. Excuse me, He's hardly "in" the Whitehouse. He's everywhere except where he should be.
